Students at ACSH Campus will experience a vibrant research community, both national and international. Our renowned panel of research experts carryout research projects in Sri Lanka, USA, and other countries. The students have an opportunity to join these ongoing projects as research assistants on both paid and unpaid internships to gain valuable experience. A closely mentored apprenticeship in such work with a research supervisor and close guidance in academic work by an academic advisor will lead to a successful postgraduate education and professional career.

The student experiences at ACSH Campus are boundless with hands on field experience, lab experience, and publication experience. The institute publications, The Journal of Clinical, Counseling, and Health Psychology, textbooks, newsletters, and social media work, provide students with multiple opportunities for gaining experience in the publication process and authorship. Collaborating with professors from multiple countries provide students a rare opportunity to develop a global network of professionals for knowledge sharing and professional development.

The institute offers a small group environment with strong relationships between the professors and students for an enhanced learning experience. ACSH Campus only accepts a small number of students who are highly motivated to learn and excel in psycho-social professions. The students develop close bond that provide each other support in research and social aspects. The programs take a view of contributing to the needs and gaps in the Sri Lankan economy and aspirations of our students to join binational, multinational, and international organizations.

ACSH Campus is a registered training institute of TVEC, Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka. It is also affiliated with the following academic organizations: The British Council, The United States Library of Congress, ICUDDR (International Consortium of Universities for Drug Demand Reduction), while a member of the American Psychological Association Clinical Psychology Society (APA Division 12) and International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP), and collaborates in program delivery with Ecolink Institute of Wellbeing, Mangalore. ACSH Campus offers diplomas in counseling psychology recognized by TVEC, Sri Lanka.
